| As the title implies, Guess Who is a modern take on the classic Guess Who's Coming To Dinner starring Katherine Heburn and Spencer Tracy - the parents who 's daughter wants to marry a black man (Poitier). This time there is a reversal, Bernie Mac plays the lead as the father, Percy Jones whose daughter Theresa wants to marry white boy Simon (Kutcher). Although this can be a sensitive topic to put in a film, this comedy doesn't make issue of this and instead soley concentrates on the father bonding with his new son-in-law in a light-hearted way. |
