the murder investigation with an obsessive zeal to see justice done. The
investigation leads him to uncover an illegal plutonium stockpile. Based upon the
BBC series "Edge of Darkness" directed by Martin Campbell.
The TV show had some risque moments. Is Gibson
going to be willing to plumb the same depths? The

In the story, an overweight, illiterate teen who is pregnant with her second child is
invited to enroll in an alternative school in hopes that her life can head in a new
direction. Winner of the Audience Award and the Grand Jury Prize at the 2009
Sundance Film Festival.
Incredibly moving film, with knockout performances.
Gabby Sidibe could be an outside bet to win Best
Actress at the Oscars, and if the film can connect with
UK audiences (which isn't a sure thing) this could get
ecstatic word of mouth. |
